Cool story...God provides!

I’ve got a cool story to share with you: Today (10/17), while gathering furniture for the Serve ML office with Mike Kirk (volunteer), I received a phone call from a person needing some help. It caught me off guard (after all, we’re not open until November). This lady was starting all over…she didn’t have any furniture for her home. I didn’t exactly know what to say…I didn’t know of anything available. I told her we’d pray and see if God might provide. He did! When Mike and I returned with a desk for the SML office, I saw a mattress and box spring laying outside of The Home Center on Dogwood/Broadway (right near our office). Hmmmm…I wonder…might this be part of God’s provision? Yes, indeed. We called The Home Center, and they were happy to let us have it. Mike and I were able to deliver the mattress/box spring to this ladies’ home and pray with and for her. All this before we’ve opened. Praise be to God! Soli Deo Gloria, Tim Cloyd
